Wed May 4 at 7:30 PM, Four Faced Liar, 165 West 4th Street
My fiance and I are coming to NYC from the 2nd to 5th of May and I was wondering if anyone is around for a meetup?
We land on the 2nd from Australia, so after the 24+ hours in transit, I think that day is out, but the Wednesday and Thursday are both free at this stage. I was thinking that The Four Faced Liar could be a good venue - I've never been to the States before, but my American boy pretty much lived in that pub while he was working in NYC. Anyone in, and if so, which date works better for you?

I applaud your choice of west side venue, as this is convenient to me.

Thursday's probably better for me, if only because it means I'll be falling asleep at my desk on a Friday (which is probably more acceptable).

I can make either night and damned straight I will. Wednesday is slightly better for me, but I suspect I will be in the minority there.

Would it be possible to pick another venue? I have issues with one of the bartenders at FFL. Does BF like Milady's?

I think I could do the Wednesday or Thursday. I haven't been to a meetup in a while, and am now considerably less shy about revealing myself as sweetkid.

Either night works for me. Since I never get out, I have no objections to any specific bars. Like eideteker, I am also appreciative of West Side locations.

I can try for either night, and would love to meet with you. And considering that FFL's one of your future husband's favorite bars, then I'm okay with meeting there. I also like the West Side choice of locations, too!

Excellent!! The Thursday looks best at this stage for most people, and since The Chef has organised to meet a couple of friends at FFL already, I think we should probably just lock it in, if that's ok!

What time? After dinner would work best for me, I think... The Chef is trying to fit as many of his friends' restaurants in as possible. I can make it earlier if need be, though!

Thursday is my Friday so after dinner is fine with me. I'm excited to try FFL, I haven't hung in the Village in a while and need to explore new dens of inequity.

I have no problem with a switch to Wednesday.

Much earlier on Thursday would be difficult, unless everyone is okay with me arriving covered in mud and smelling delicious. (I do try to avoid riding the subway like that).
