I'm not sure there's any particular reason mefites need find each other at this event and many folks are probably already part of other groups doing their own thing. But, it is always good to meet new like-minded people and put faces to names. Would picking a specific place and time to say, "hi," be useful? (To pick an entirely arbitrary example as a starting suggestion, 12:15 at the south end of the Calder, if the crowd isn't too dense to allow for that? Though, I rather hope it will be.)

Sorry, tiny frying pan - I really didn't mean that. I'm very happy to see big events I might not have heard about posted here. (No idea what others think.) I was just wondering if there actually was a mefi meeting happening in the middle of the bigger thing. No reason there had to be. Thanks for posting.
