Fri November 8 at 4:00 PM, Nehalem Bay State Park
Nehalem Bay State Park, 34600 Gary St, Nehalem, OR, USA (Map & Directions)
The weather forecast is glorious and there are plenty of sites available at Nehalem Bay State Park!
I'm going to head over on Friday afternoon and stay until Sunday. Loops D, E, and F are all open for walk ins and since there are lots of reserved spaces still available, I predict there will be even more walk in spaces. Last time I went I got one that was basically right. on. the. beach. I will try to find a site with open sites around it and then update this thread with actual location. Or you can call / text me! 828.242.6901

Nehalem Bay is really lovely. Wide sand beach on one side, bay on the other side. Super peaceful, fall asleep to the sound of the waves. I will have the two dogs and the tiny camper and the usual assortment of camping stuff and plenty of food and wine and extra blankets to share!

That sounds really great! I wish I didn't have other commitments this weekend 😞

Aww shoot, it's a fantastic idea, but I'm not able to opt into a camping event at the last minute. I'm totally up for doing this some other time with a couple or three weeks of advance notice.
