Well, one of our Nemesis teams showed up in full force last week and defeated us 34-31. While it was refreshing to be challenged, it was not refreshing to lose. You could be the difference. As mentioned previously, if you haven’t attended before or haven’t in a while, we would love to have you with us. Some of us who attend frequently are not instrumental in achieving victory, so please don’t feel intimidated. As a bonus, more inside is a response to ChrisR’s challenge for team names playing off our usual “Manifest Destiny’s Child”. I have taken some liberties with his criteria.
OK, it starts slow, but stick with me:

Aztec Camera Stellata
Lisa Mitchell’s Raiders
Stereolabor Movement
Berlin Wall of Voodoo
Tom Tom Club of Rome
The Human League of Nations
Hüsker DEW Line
Archduke Ellington
Voodoo Children’s Crusade
Maginot Line Dancers

So ChrisR’s initial challenge involved echoing some kind of family relationship as we had with Manifest Destiny’s Child (which, face it, we are never going to be able to improve on) - so my Voodoo Children’s Crusade is the only one of mine that qualified.

But after some thought, I concluded: screw that.

BTW Archduke Ellington is my slight favorite over Maginot Line Dancers.

I think so, but I think there's also meant to be a political or socioeconomic or historical component to the pun.

So Sly and the Family Stonewall Riots.

I think you gotta stick with current Billboard hit artists. Spear Brittney definitely originated in the 90s and I’ll bet Manifest Destiny’s Child did too. In that spirit, I’ll offer:

Bruno Mars Attacks
Jonas Brothers in Arms
Panic! At the Disco Inferno
Travis Scott Joplin
