PDX: Academy Theatre Classic Movie Nights

It's almost summer, so why don't we pick some nights for classic movie viewing at the Academy in Montavilla? Their full lineup is here.

Note: They just had a fire this week so the first week of June might not work (no Back to the Future or Sound of Music), but hopefully they will be up and running for the rest of the summer.

Oooh, Bill and Ted! The only day I could go to that one is June 22.

Independence Day might be fun! Bill and Ted or Pee Wee would be good too. I'm busy 6/21-6/24, though.

The 22nd is out for us but the rest of the days for Bill and Ted work for us, generally. I'd also be interested in The Last Unicorn in August.

Kiki's sounds good. Haven't seen a lot of Miyazaki's work and I always wanted to correct that. And like two_unicycles said, I've also fallen down on the socialization bit.

Kiki's starts showing on Friday, so we should probably make a decision on that front soon. Weekends are generally better for me, but we might be able to make it during the week, depending on the showtimes (which don't seem to be available yet).

Also I'm always down for watching The Princess Bride, but that's a ways out yet.

Do we want to claim Kiki's for Tuesday the 26th in the evening? It's two for Tuesday. We could try to make a standing thing on Tuesdays in the future also.

Depending on when timing's are up, the bar across the street does Happy Hour until 7, if we want to meet there (for the 21+ crowd) before heading over?

Unfortunately, this Tuesday i have a print job I need to work on. However, shop hours end at 8 and I'll hopefully be done before then; do we know the movie time for Kiki yet?

Things have gotten complicated and I wont be able to attend tomorrow nights show, so I've not switched this over to a confirmed meet up.

To give us some lead time, does July 10th for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Raiders, or the 17th for Labyrinth?
