Nystekt Strömming, which is the number 1 item on Time's list of things to do in Stockholm, used to be at Slussen but no longer. The herring wagon has relocated to Kornhamnstorg, in Gamla Stan, and is open until 9 pm. So let us meet there to enjoy a Swedish landmark serving working class food. If herring isn't your bag, feel free to show up with take out and/or friends or family.

I am not sure where we can sit together to eat, but after we pick up our food we could go to the central plaza in Gamla Stan. Ideas, anyone?

Could I put on a thinking cape instead? I might be along to this, my days are a bit mad at the minute but I think I can pull it off. The veggies, and me, can maybe get some takeout from the chinese on the corner there (it's daycent) and we could sit by the water?

It looks like a leaky water bottle killed my Swedish phone earlier today. I will have my US phone on me so can check messages to my email address, which y'all should have. Can y'all please meet at the herring place no later than 19:15 (if you got other take out on the way), so I don't wander around looking for you? That would be delightful.

Uh oh spoke too confidently - there is a two hour delay on the train to Stockholm, cause marked 'brand'. They are confidently assigning train platforms, though, so I will try to catch it...
