Dim sum time is here again - this year, ferret branca and I want to meet up at Buddha Bodai on Mulberry Street (yelp page), how about you?
While I'm not vegan, vegetarian, or kosher, I recently was at the Buddha Bodai on Mott Street and thought it was great, just as filling and inexpensive as regular dim sum, and ferret branca says the Mulberry Street location is better. I'm calling this for Saturday, January 27th, at 11:30am.

Buddha Bodai is the best! I have, um, recommended it *very* many times on AskMe so I second oh yeah's recommendation here as well. Hope to see you there!

Buddha Bodai is great, and I usually hate stuff like seitan etc. Wish I could make it, but I actually have a friend coming in from Vancouver today and we're going to Nom Wah. We'll have parallel dim sum. Happy Birthday!

Buddha Bodai is amazing. It's second only to Nom Wah in my book.

Oh, forgot about the March. We can move it to Saturday the 27th if that works out better for people, I picked the 20th so we’d still have one last January weekend in reserve in case we needed to reschedule for weather reasons.

I can do the 20th, the 27th is my daughter's birthday so I'd be out for that one. I'll keep tabs on this page to see what the collective decides.

I've never had dim sum (and am mostly veg), which needs to change! May not be available the 20th though.

So, we have one vote for the 20th, one maybe and one no for the 20th, and one no for the 27th. I'd like to move this from Proposed to Confirmed soon, so, what's the consensus for the rest of the Maybe's?

I'm open for either. On the 27th, I have a conflict from 10-11am, but can do afterwards. Any thoughts?

We generally aim for an 11am start for dim sum, so, depending on how long the wait is for a table, that probably won't be much of a conflict.

Ok, I'm opting for the 27th to get this on the calendar. Ferret branca says we may be able to make a reservation if we know the head count, so, please update your status sometime before next weekend if you can.
