So last month, the calendar and my dark mood got the best of me and we didn't get together for activism talk and grousing and camaraderie -- with food and drink!) Let's fix that this month at the Long Room.
My kitchen is going to be fixed by then finally but the rest of the house probably won't be moved back into place, so let's meet at the Long Room, a bar near my house that has big booths and coffee and a lot of good brunch options.
For those that don't know, since the presidential election, we've been getting together to talk about activism we're doing and want to do, issues we've been tackling and want to tackle, and other resistance. We've also been making signs and writing letters and though I don't know how easy that we'll be in a bar this month, I'm open to suggestions.
So bring yourself and any like minded friends. If you don't want to spend money, that will be cool too (I'm sure we'll be ordering enough for the space we're taking up), so don't let that prevent you from coming to this not-at-somebody's-house incarnation of this event.
