Celebrate Golden Week in Tokyo at a yakitori theme park!

Let's celebrate the beginning of Golden Week with a Metafilter visit to Tokyo's first yakitori theme park! Seven famous yakitori shops from around Japan have been brought together under one roof, so there's a lot of good grilled chicken to try out. The food is good, prices are reasonable, and it's a fun atmosphere. Let's yakitori!

Here is a review and photos of the venue. I've been to a few dinners there recently, and it's a nice, very informal venue without being too rowdy. The location is Otemachi, which is served by five or six subway lines (and walking distance to JR Tokyo Station), and fairly central. I think the average bill is around Y3000-4000 per person for ample food and drink. (And for the all-important nijikai, there's a branch of Craft Beer Market right upstairs, where they serve thirty craft beers on tap as well as sake and cocktails, in case anyone wants a nightcap.) I've reserved a table already (for the first Saturday of Golden Week), so it's just a matter of figuring out the numbers.

I think I'll be there, I'm working in Hamamatsucho in the morning, so I should be all right. Probably no nijikai for me, as I'm working again the next morning.

Thanks for the heads up about this! I put down maybe but I'm pretty sure I'll be in town; schedule's a bit up in the air at the moment but I should know a little closer to the date. Grilled food is always a great choice!

Sorry, Flapjax, Otsuka is a haul for me. It's a great place, and I would love to get up to Titans there a lot more often, but the connections back to Chiba from there are pretty rough, and like I said, I have to be back at work early the next day.
