I have to go to Philly to do a thing. It seems boring to do the thing, then turn around and go home, so I'm adding a second thing.

That second thing being day drinking. I have selected Monk's as the location, but I am amendable to other suggestions or some other type of bar/restaurant hopping, particularly as Monk's has some kind of event listed: http://www.monkscafe.com/events.cfm and particularly as there are many yummy things to eat in Philly.

Yeah There's a big zwanze cantillon event listed it may be a madhouse at monks certainly will be earlier. I've gone previous years but have a conflict this year. Expect cash only standing room only if you can even get in the door. It's also Oktoberfest at brauhaus Schmitz that I already have plans for otherwise I'd be up for beers.
