Seattle! I am in town for a glorious 36 hours next week and would love to meet some local Seattle MeFites and grab some drinks. 7 PM on Friday, September 18th at The Pinebox on Melrose Ave. Come hang out!
Curses, I hate to miss this, but I am not in Seattle... that weekend.

I have never done one of these and I've lived in Seattle for two years, so maybe it's time to get out and meet some people that are not work humans. I will attempt to make it!

Aw bummer! The Pine Box is my favorite local haunt (great choice) and I like meetups (like, a lot.) But I will be away in NYC with my flame. Have a great time in Seattle!

I tried to make a reservation but they operate on a first-come first-serve basis unless you're a huge group willing to pay a deposit, so I will probably head there a little bit before 7 PM to grab a space.

Well, I finally did scroll up [D'oh!] and met the meetup. But as I forgot to bring my Foxy Grandma Ear Trumpet, the ratio was noise noise signal noise noise. Not that my listening comprehension would have been that great in pin drop quiet. What a bunch of smarties - the whole experience put the awe in awesome in its own The Flintstones Meet the Jetsons way.
