I am a giant idiot. I was standing in line for Lev to sign my copy of Magicians Land. Out of the corner of my eye I see a familiar t-shirt. "Hey, I wonder if that guy's a MeFite?!" I think to myself. Then I remember where I heard about this event. Not on Twitter. Not from a friend. But from Metafilter. I looked around for you to say "hi" and actually saw you getting into your car across the street from the store, but I figured it would be weird if I chased you to your car to say "I know you from the Internet." But thanks again for putting this up - I was really glad I made it to the event and really enjoyed it.

Haha! It was an interesting talk. Grossman talked about his process, his family, his inspirations. He really likes Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrel, which now that I compare the books, come out in his writing. Here's to riding the fantasy wave.
