Shanghai Meatspace

Ahoy fellow mefites! I'm in Shanghai on a work assignment for the next 10 days, would love to meetup

Staying in Pudong and working out of our office in Hongyi Plaza tower (next to the Apple Store) on East Nanjing. Anybody up for an evening or weekend meet?

I'm open to anything; drinks, dinner, Sunday brunch, whatever...

Any takers?

I was *just* in Shanghai, so I don't think I can take a trip back right now, but if you drink and/or eat meat, I'd like to recommend a trip to Morton's Steakhouse at the LuJiaZui metro stop (very close to you). It is located in the IFC mall. They have a martini happy hour (5-7) where they serve free tiny sandwiches (and all the English or French mustard and blue cheese-stuffed olives you care to ask for).

The best part is that, if you sit on the patio, you have a view of the three tallest buildings in Shanghai; it's pretty sweet.

Ah, too bad we missed each other, but thanks for the recommendation! I'll be checking it out.

Lately I've been coming to Shanghai every 2-3 months or so and staying for 2-3 weeks at a time. So perhaps another time... (I'm leaving for the US this Friday).
