Happy Karaoke Fun Time is a musical improv group that I DJ for. We're taking a giant step and performing our show Off-Broadway!

Happy Karaoke Fun Time puts together a new musical, made up on the spot, for every performance. We perform scenes that may, at any moment, break into song (just like any other musical!). Which is where the twist comes in. As the DJ, I control what songs play and when. And I'll be playing karaoke versions of songs you know and love, and the performers have to make up new lyrics that fit the story, right there, on the spot. Will I play an old showtune? Or a current pop song? Or maybe a song from your childhood? No one knows! Over the course of the show, we'll build a world and a cohesive narrative in a way that will leave you asking, "How the heck did they do that?" So come watch us sing, dance, and play our way into your hearts. We'll be at the Davenport Theatre on 45th b/t 8th & 9th every Thursday at 10pm for six weeks. Tickets are $15.
