There are a lot of neat new restaurants and bars I've been wanting to try in downtown San Jose, and it would be nice to hang out with some MeFites. How about helping me kill two birds, stone-wise?

But after hours of discussion, we'll meet at Original Gravity at 7pm on Thursday June 5th.

I'm into this! I've heard really good things about Paper Plane. I've been to Original Gravity and Cafe Stritch, and both would be excellent choices. Stritch is pretty big and should have more than enough seating for everyone, though there's often live music that could make conversation difficult. Original Gravity has a really nice selection that caters to beer snobs (high ABV tho, careful!), and plenty of outdoor patio space.

Thursday sounds good, and I was leaning towards Original Gravity anyway because I have been there, and it's pretty good. So I'm gonna confirm it, and anyone else who is lurking or on the fence can join in.

Not sure if I'll make it, but OG is great. Dress for the weather - there's a nice beer garden and not much space inside.

Can't make it, working this evening. OG and Paper Plane are both great (they're owned by the same people) and they're about 20 steps away from each other so it'll be easy to visit both if you guys want.
ISO beers has an excellent beer fridge and plenty on tap. I have only been there once and it didn't have the same social bar feel that OG does. But definitely worth checking out if you're into beer.
