Return to Minneapolis Yet Again -- Tofu edition

So, I will be back in town just after Memorial Day, and I'm hoping for a meet-up. This time I was thinking ofPeninsula, a Malaysian restaurant on Nicollett.
Peninsula has great tofu (although they do serve meat), isn't too expensive, offers beer and other alcohol, and is relatively easy to get to.

I also have a slight preference for Wednesday, but can do either. Time and place doesn't matter to me.

Oh, Peninsula is great, and for whatever reason I only seem to go there when somebody comes in from out of town and suggests it…

Wednesday and Thursday would both work, but Wednesday is a little better.

OK< Wednesday 28 May it is. I split the difference on start time for 6:30m, so we will go with that unless someone raises a significant problem. Looking forward to it.

So... we'll be making the reservations soonish (on Sunday, probably), and it would be great if any "maybes" who have developed a better idea of whether they can show up or not could change their status. We'll make the reservation on the high side to account for last minute deciders, but, if you have a clearer idea, please let us know so we can get the right table....

Yay, everyone! We're upping the reservation to 16, so there should be a bit of room for last-minute deciders to get a seat. Looking forward to it!

That was fun, and I'm glad we went and got to talk to people I hadn't seen in a while. Next time, I may even be brave enough to talk to people on the other side of the table!
