small_ruminant is in our fine state and so we're going to Cockadoodle Pizza Cafe in Bethel to welcome her. Laid back get together, as always. Hope to see many of you!
Since Cockadoodle closes at 8, we have changed the time to 6pm for pizza if anyone wants to join. The plan is to then go to Railside in Randolph, where folks can consider playing trivia.
I just looked up the weather- 28F in Westfield- it is already COLD in Vermont!

The cold in Vermont has actually been delayed. Been unseasonably warm.
Our furnace hasn't turned on once this season! But don't worry, we will make sure you don't freeze!

I will bring a hot water bottle as a back up. I'm going to stay in a convent after I stay with you- THEY probably don't turn the heat on til January or something :/

that is a short amount of time for pizza and beer. and that is an early-closing pizza parlor!

Are there other places nearby? Places in Montpelier are open later, but I might be a little biased and lazy. :)

There's pub trivia in Randolph. Not the best food, but an okay place for beer and watching the World Series game. I am still feeling a bit logey, so it might be best to make plans without me since I'm not sure if I'll be heading out.

Please note the time change for pizza and the possibility of taking the meetup on the road and going to The Railside at 7 for trivia, drinks, etc.

Railside is shruggo for food (though there is some pub food and $1.50 Bud Light and a few things on tap as well as mixed drinks) but it's a nice crowd and trivia is a few hours and very very low key (people can join in or not) and the baseball game will be on the tv.
