Sunday, September 29, Stewriffic will be back on the Peninsula for another visit. Let's all get together and say hi!
She's staying at a hotel in Redwood Shores, and I'll be picking her up, so let's find a place somewhere between San Carlos and Palo Alto. Definitely open to suggestions. It's a school night, and she'll be on East Coast time, so let's start early, say 5pm.
(And yes, I am aware there is a meetup in SF and a meetup in Berkeley that same weekend, but not on Sunday, so all the SF and East Bay MeFites are welcome to join in. In fact, anyone who makes it to all three meetups that weekend, I will buy you a drink.)

Hey, had a lovely time the last time we did this. I selfishly vote for Palo Alto (suggest Bar by Madame Tam because Pho). In Redwood City I like Martin West (gastropub) which is downtown.

I've been watching for an East Bay meetup since I loathe driving into SF or to SF.
Not sure if I'll be free for this…but we'll see.

I've been thinking about this too! There seems to be a consensus for Palo Alto. Last time we did Antonio's Nut House, but maybe someplace different this time?
There was a suggestion for the Bar by Madame Tam. Never been there, but happy to give it a try. Other Palo Alto alternatives: Scotty's, The Old Pro, the Wine Room, The Rose & Crown.

We're driving there no matter what, and I don't know much about good locations around there, so I vote that ambrosia just chooses a place and announces it and then we all show up there!

I brought back a cold from the east coast. I'm getting over it, but I have no idea how I'll feel by tomorrow. Which is sad, because I'm pretty sure this will be the only nearby meetup in the next 3 years.

Yes! It happened! It was lovely to see Stewriffic again, and tangerine, Space Coyote and Bess. We missed those who couldn't make it, and agreed to have another meetup in the reasonably near future.
