Bohemian Beer Garden

29-19 24th Avenue, Queens, New York City, USA (Map & Directions)
with extra special Canadian visitor, former mefite flex! We're going to be drinking some Czech beer on Sunday afternoon at the Bohemian Beer Garden in Astoria.
I thought maybe 3pm, which would work for people who would like to grab a beer or two before leaving for dinner and also anyone who would want to stick around and order food as well. Also, the beer garden is a good excuse to get mefites into Queens for a meetup, which is one of my personal missions.
I am SO excited about this. My friend Bakerina used to live by there and I haven't been since she moved to Cali. We will have to post lots of pics to make her jealous enough to return for a visit next summer.

I am still squarely in camp Maybe - I got all sneezy last night, assumed it was allergies & took something, but I'm still sniffly this morning. Onto my third mug of tea now, will see how I feel after a shower.

Perfect weather for a meetup! Hopefully everyone in Astoria doesn't think the same thing and we can nab a spot to sit. I'll be wearing a white t-shirt with a picture of Ruth Bader Ginsberg on it. (Notorious R.B.G.)

Yay, now confirmed mlle valentine attendance! I will be somewhere until 3:30-ish, so I probably won't make an appearance until about 4:30, but I am definitely coming. Hopefully y'all will still be there, but if not please post in the thread!

apologies on the last moment cancellation. My friend called me and was like "It's my birthday! Let's do something." Apparently his gf dumped him last night thus throwing his plans out the window. Hope you guys are having fun. Let's plan another one for september.

We are still going strong in Queens if anyone still wants to join. Fatty's Cafe in Queens, 25-01 Ditmars Blvd. Astoria 11105. We will beat those time records set by the board game meetups!
