Pretty much what it says on the tin: Savannah Mefites, let's meet and greet! I'm thinking on some Saturday afternoon, at Mellow Mushroom or Crystal Beer Parlor, but am open to suggestions. What say you?

Cool, me too. Love the bathroom art at Magic Mushroom. Saturday or Sunday afternoon would be fine with me.
I moved here a few months ago and would enjoy meeting new people.

MM, located downtown, seems good with everyone, so we'll go that. Sundays are terrible for me, Saturdays work much better.

Wow, I'm kind of amazed there are this many people in Savannah (I used to live there), and also, what happened to Brandon Blatcher? Saw this, thought he would have been behind it, realized I haven't seen (read?) him around in a while...huh.

Two weeks out would be better for me--we're having a bit of a family health crisis at the moment, and we're on alert to go out-of-town at short notice if need be.

Mellow Mushroom cool? It has alcohol and vegetarian items for this who want'em, along with cheap appetizers. My only concern is it being crowded on a Saturday afternoon, what with SCAD back in session, so if anyone has better ideas, feel free to chime in.
My wife will probably be joining us, so don't hesitate to bring a quest.
Noon ok? or a little later at 2?

Noon is okay I suppose. I'm not sure if I'll be able to attend, things have been really bad here lately. I'll try to make it but no promises right now. Mellow Mushroom is good as far as that goes.

Gah! Bad timing. Fall is a bad time for meetups for me. Hopefully another one comes around these parts soon! The deep South seems to be pretty sparse for metafilterians, so it's great to see someone organizing down here.

It's cool, we weren't arrest and thrown out of anywhere. The biggest "fight" was a frosty three sided talk about gum, where to chew it and if you did, whether adults should be chewing fruity gum.
