Hi folks! In recognition of World Listening Day 2013, I'm presenting an all-night (9pm-5am), immersive, in-the-dark concert of field recordings, ambience, drones, found sound, shortwave recordings, etc., in a secret location outside of Joshua Tree National Park.
Audio will be sourced from my vast archive of audio collected over the past eight years of world travels.

You are required to bring your own pillows, blankets, sleeping bags, camping gear (if you want to camp outside), etc. The indoor space can comfortably sleep maybe 50-60 people, but the desert outside is quite spacious. ;-) Attendance is technically "closed" to strangers, but I am opening the invitation to MeFites and their friends and family.

The location will be announced here the day of the event, but for navigational purposes, it is just outside the boundaries of the Joshua Tree National Park, off the town's main drag.

Bring whatever you want for food and drink. Porta-potties will be provided. This is a "leave-no-trace" event, so anything you bring in, you must pack out.

Feel free to ask questions or RSVP below!
