The date has been set for the final Meet The Lady extravaganza at 92Y Tribeca, get your tickets while they last. (previously)
No guests announced yet -- expect the usual suspects, reminisces of past themes, and presentations of themes that didn't get a chance for their own show.

It looks like some guests have been added. From 92YTribeca's web site:

Many surprises are in store, with guest including but not limited to:

- Burlesque sensations FEM APPEAL and IRIS EXPLOSION, with stage kitten ARIEL ITALIC
- Classical harpist RIZA PRINTUP
- Sinister fragrance samples from BLACK PHOENIX ALCHEMY LAB

And an after-party in the 92YTribeca Cafe presided over by DJ Accident Report and his Warm Leatherettes.

And it looks like you can still get tickets!

I doubt that there will be food served by the 92YTribeca Cafe beforehand, and there's not much to choose from within walking distance. I don't think they'll bother enforcing the no-outside-food rule now that it's gone all Beyond the Thunderdome, but, you never know. If anyone can think of someplace fast/cheap/convenient near 200 Hudson, please post it. I've never had much luck on my own just walking around looking. (Depending on how quickly I can get out of work Thursday, I might go get dinner at Coppelia on 14th & 8th since it's right by the 1,2,3 subway stop.)

I'm not hungry enough for Coppelia yet, but for lack of a better idea, that's where I plan to be around 6:15 if anyone wants to join me.
