Mon September 27 at 6:30 PM, Passion Cafe
28 6th St, San Francisco, CA, USA (Map & Directions)
Our inaugural rendezvous this past Monday night was un grande succ0232;s so we've decided to continue on a bi-weekly basis. Monday and Tuesday nights seem to be best (for now). We need a better venue than Caf0233; de la Presse so please suggest some better and BART-friendly alternatives! I propose Monday 9/27 as our next date. Thoughts?

The 27th works for me. Given that I was the one who came up with Café de la Presse, though, I'm not sure I should be suggesting other meeting places...

I've been yelp searching and I'm discovering that it's hard to find our qualifications united in a single venue.

I didn't make it to Cafe de la Presse (tristement!) but I did peek at the menu and I am guessing that it was a bit on the pricey side for comfort.

I was looking for a place that was 1.) French 2.) Bart-friendly and 3.) not terribly expensive. It is proving difficult. Would we be willing to go a cafe that is not specifically French?

P.S. I totally want to come next time!

If we require French food, there is Passion Cafe on 6th st. They have a nice rooftop deck.

Guys, Passion Cafe had an unexpected close today at 3. There's a hand written note on the door. I'm at the mall using free wifi. Where should we meet instead? There's a couple places on the top floor here or I know of a reasonable sushi place nearby. I also know overpriced French not too far. What's the consensus?

Bummer. I'd prefer to be outside, personally. It's not cheap but there are tables available at Chez Papa (am standing here looking at them!)
