Here goes, with a location that's central to transit & with decent parking. V Lounge by Ala Moana Center. Delicious pizza, cold beer. Residents and visitors come one come all.

Just gauging interest in a potential MeFi meetup in Honolulu. Thinking a weekday pau hana at V Lounge but other suggestions welcome. Eyeing the last week of May (the week after Memorial Day) but mid-to-late-June is also good.

As I'm out of town in mid-June, I'm just going to set Wed May 29 at 7pm at V Lounge as the date/time (unless you have a request to change the time!). I'll be the small Asian girl. Hah. I'll think of something to wear/bring to make it obvious.

Alright, I'm going to wear my Creative Commoner tshirt (a kind of light aqua color) to be more visibly geeky. Hope to see folks next Wednesday on the 29th. If not ALL THE PIZZA IS MINE.

I just dragged in two non-MeFi folks to keep me company and we ate all the pizzas. What with the rain and the flash flood warning, I figured most "maybes" would turn into "next times". Next time!
Also apropos of nothing, I'm in LAX and it's a major culture shock after Honolulu. All the honking! People dressed up for the club and not the beach! The upside is that the Mexican food at the airport is pretty solid.
