Anybody want to meet up in Bloomington IN for board games?

I'm somewhat close. But I'm moving from Scottsburg to Terre Haute this month. So that might throw a wrench into things. Did you have a particular time in mind?

Fantastic! I think a Saturday afternoon this month would be great. Would the 12th or 19th work best? If it's a smallish group we could just meet at my house, which is within walking distance of the square. We have all kinds of games we don't play often enough (including but by no means limited to Scrabble, Carcassonne, Blokus, Ticket to Ride, Scotland Yard, Cityscape, Zombies!!!, Apples to Apples/CAH). It would be lovely if people brought games they like too!

I am new to Bloomington, looking to meet people, and have never been to a MeFi meetup. The only catch is, I work Saturdays til 9:30PM and Sundays til 7:30PM. But if things are still rolling at those hours, I'm game for coming by late. Keep me posted.

I won't be able to do either of those weekends. Too busy with all the stuff going on right now. But if y'all want to do this again later down the line once I'm settled, keep me posted. I'd love to get involved.

I thiiiiink so but evens have transpired since I posted that have me needing to wait until at least this weekend to be able to reliably predict my whereabouts over the next couple of weeks.

Life is crazy and time commitments are difficult to make these days, but logicpunk & I can be considered a 'maybe' for either 1/19 or 2/16. The promise of Cards Against Humanity raises this to a strong maybe.

I'm in Indy, too, and might be able to make it down on the 16th. Maybe if enough Indy people are interested we could ride down together? Or create a splinter cell of our own in Indy? Or something?
