The Philly meetup to see ludwig_van's band was excellent but small. It's time for another big one, I think. (Updated: Informal, probably-not-big meetup at Cantina tonight in South Philly.)
I'll start by suggesting a weekday evening at.... South Philly Taproom? Cantina? Not that it has to be in South Philly, I'm just trying to think of places that we've been able to bring our large groups to without great difficulty.

I'd love to make this one, but we're going to be away from the 11th to the 18th. Any chance of making it before or after then? No worries if not - I'll catch the next one. Thanks!

I could come from a Monday through Wednesday night (probably). I'm a student in Philly during the week though I would prefer it to not go too late since I'll have to rely on Septa to get anywhere.

Oh hi everyone, here I am again!

I am up for drinking, meetups, etc... but just to check, Sept 19th is a Sunday evening, i.e. not a weekday evening)... or is it a weekday evening because most people work on Mondays?

I've always thought of Sunday as a weekday evening on the basis that you have to get up early in the morning, the way that Friday night is a weekend evening. This could probably be the basis for a borderline-chatfilter question, though.

I'd like to try to go to this one, so if it's wheelchair accessible it would be nice. I am, however, a big fucking flake in terms of committing to things, so no need for the accessibility dealio if it would cause plan crimpage.

The menu at Cantina doesn't scream cheap to me, but it does have a wide range of prices, like an $8 chicken burrito to the pricier $16 mole. Also, looks like drinks range from $5 to $7. I've never been there, so I don't know how it would be for a group.

Yep! It was the craziest meetup EVER. Tons of drinking, drugs and illicit behavior. Sorry you missed it! Just kidding, it was only me and Tomorrowful, sitting at the bar at Cantina having a nice meal (one drink each ;)) and chat. Hopefully more people will make it to the next one!
