It's been almost a year since the last meet-up in Baltimore. Let's do it again.

Last November, Sonascope led a brave group of MeFites to the top of Baltimore's Bromo Seltzer Tower. It was a beautiful evening, but I'm not aiming for anything as ambitious as that. Beers at Liam Flynn's on Saturday, September 22, at 6.

I have a pretty tight schedule the next few weeks, but I'm interested in attending my first ever meetup! Btw, I'll already be at Windup this Wednesday for a High Zero event if any other Mefites are thinking of coming to that.

Okay, so it looks like The Windup is the place. So, what days work best? Weeknight or weekend? I'm leaning towards Thursday at, say, 6 or 7?

Baltimore is notoriously bad for meetups so I'm thrilled there will be one. I'm down with the Windup and the good part is that the other suggestion, Liam Flynn's, is just a few doors down. Since Thursdays seem to be an issue, what about Wednesday?

Okay, Liam Flynn's has a happy hour on Saturdays from 4 - 8. I think it'd be better to meet there. That way we don't have to worry about conflicting with some performance or other at The Windup. Also, it sounds like more people are free on the weekend. So, let's say Saturday at 6 at Liam Flynn's?

I have a 5:30 call for a show I'm in 9/22, and it looks like I'll be out of town 9/29. So my next two Saturdays are out. Actually my next three. Crap. Most of October looks much better for me, though, in case it doesn't happen 9/2.

Looks like there's a bunch of Mefites who can probably make it to a cocktail hour in 2-3 weeks. Couldn't we make this a monthly thing, some sort of Monthly Mobtown MeFi Meetup? Are we not better than MeFi Portland?
