The last board game meetup was a ton of fun. Obviously, we should do it again.

This was fun last time! Personally I prefer going a little later, but if you start early it seems like coming later is always an option! Can't make 8/19 but I can't commit to the other dates either so obviously don't plan around me.

Also, I think Cafe Mox is great! If you want to change it up, The Pub at Third Place in Ravenna is a nice place, especially for happy hour (4 p.m. to 6 p.m. everyday). Wayward Coffeehouse was a good venue in their old location. I assume their new location in Roosevelt works well too.

Wayward has nice big tables and is used to having nerdly folks in. They're very nice, and I believe we can call ahead and reserve tables if need be.

August is the busiest time of year for me at work, so I can't commit to any of these dates, but I might drop in at the last minute for any of them. Generally (though not for the next six weeks), I play soccer on Sundays and would be less likely to make events on Sunday afternoons. But for this particular time, Sunday should be no worse than Saturday. I also thought Cafe Mox was awesome. I live in Laurelhurst so locations east of Ballard are appealing, but I'm more likely to make a Ballard event on a Saturday than a Ravenna or Roosevelt event on a Sunday.

8/11 and 8/12 conflict with Geek Girl Con. I'll be hitting it up one of those days and probably way too tired to go do anything! I'm probably down for the other possibilities, though.

I loved going to the previous Wayward location. I used to go every other Thursday and there was a gaming group of some sort in there at the same time my group was, so I echo that they're definitely cool with that sort of thing. I'm okay with either Saturdays or Sundays but the 18th/19th is likely the first weekend I'll make it on an afternoon. Oh, and I'm bringing UNO next time, too, for people like me who can understand games only when they have no more than about three rules.

I enjoyed Cafe Mox, but haven't been to the other places so I'm happy with any venue as long as it's near a bus route. I'm fine for the dates suggested. Big fan of Uno and its product extensions (particularly the bastardish Uno Attack). I imagine it could serve a kind of sorbet-like purpose as well. Thanks again for organising, errant.

I could probably only make the 19th, of those dates. I've never been to Cafe Mox, but both it and Wayward/Third Place look like they're a single bus ride from downtown so any of them should be easy enough - maybe a slight preference for the U District area because it's more familiar :)

Hello, I've been away for a bit. So it sounds like the 18th or the 19th is the preferred choice, with some leaning towards the 19th? Can I get a hell yeah or fuck no? Let's stick with Cafe Mox for this one, unless there's a very strong opinion towards someplace else, in which case that'd be fine too. But it seems like Mox works for the majority?

Oh, and I'm dumb. I left off the 18th initially because I can't make it then, but obviously I'm not the source of all boardgaming wisdom. So if the 18th works for more people, I can set the meetup for that day and wish you guys an excellent time.

More likely to make the 19th than other times; I favor starting early to mid afternoon on Sundays but if it were a Saturday would prefer a later start.
