Mission Bar, Thursday, 7/12/2012 @ 6:30PM. Basically an after-work thing. Spitting distance from the 24th St. BART. You have no reason not to go.
It's been a while since I've done one of these things, and I promised rtha that I'd attend another meetup at some point. Plenty of fine burrito establishments nearby in case we get hungry.

That is not wrong.
I also discovered at the last meetup that the liquor store/corner store next door to mission bar has a good falafel sandwich, too! They put French fries in!

You know, I've never known what to think of that place. Apparently Anthony Bourdain loves it, although a friend of mine got food poisoning there. What's odd is that neither fact surprises me.

Frjitz is weird... it's too bright in there or something. Mission Bar is full of dimness, shadow, and whiskey. My kind of place.

I am fairly certain that I have seen a dog there at least one other time, trip. But I was probably drunk. And the dog may have been the guest of a regular, and so there with special privileges. But since they don't serve food, it might be more possible to have a dog there than at Frjtz.

Oh wait -- I just realized that Mission Bar is the same place I brought the dog-cow to a meetup a long time ago! Plus their Yelp page photos feature dogs-a-plenty, so see you people there!
