Jersey people cannot start at 3 AM. The financially deprived mercy of NJTransit prevents us from being wild. Aside from that, the entire day is mine. Stumped as to venue, but I hate crowded bars.

I like an early evening meetup- 6:30 or 7ish. Time to sit in the bar for awhile and then go off to get food. I, too, am stumped on venues, though.

You know where I went that'd be good for an early afternoon meetup is the Greenwich Village Country Club. Lots of lounge space, food & drink, mini-golf for the so-inclined. I went on a Saturday afternoon a few months ago and it was empty.

Assuming it's staying in the same general vicinity, I went to 61 Local not to long ago, and it wasn't that crowded. I also find Freddy's to be not too crowded on the weekend (but that's not super convenient to a lot of people). Or maybe Zombie Hut for an afternoon? It gets busy at night, but they have a big outdoor space, which might be nice for the daytime.

How long would this last, theoretically? I've heard Zombie Hut does get crowded later, and I may have stuff to do later as well. I know meetups generally vary in terms of length, but the early time for this is kind of throwing me off.
