Journey to the End of the Night 2012

It's that time of year again, and this time bibliogrrl and baniak will be RUNNING A CHECKPOINT. I will be there, too!
This year the start point is the Humboldt Park Formal Gardens (3000 W Division) at 6:30, so ideally we'd meet somewhere nearby around 5:30 for pre-race eats.

This is officially just for the race, but you guys should still plan to meet up and stuff.

I AM RUNNING A CHECKPOINT. Can't tell you where it is, but it will be AWESOME.

If anyone would want to help out at the checkpoint, holler. We can use all the help we can get.

Oh wow. I'm so glad you posted this because I've been waiting since last year to play as a runner and somehow managed to not notice when it was. Hopefully I can make it, and I'll see some of you at checkpoints!

I managed to get into to town earlier than expected, so I'm currently bumming around the garden. Was pre-race eats a flop? Otherwise I'll see y'all at the super secret awesome checkpoint!

We had great successes all around! Checkpoint 4 was awesome (and kind of turned into a crash pad for weary catchers halfway through the night) and all of our runners made it through alive! It was cold, it was wet, but we prevailed.
