I am going to a fancy shmancy gala thing on Saturday, and am still in search of shoes & whatnot to match the dress. I know there's a DNA footwear near the subway stop, but my pre-Brooklyn-Inn-meetup wanderings so far have been in search of food. Will I have any luck looking for shoes & stuff there tonight do you think?

ALSO I AM TAKING SUGGESTIONS FOR AN OUTDOOR PLACE. It should be:

--Near a lot of trains
--Not ridiculously expensive
--Empty enough for 5-15 people to fit on a weeknight
--Decent service/staff

(vrakatar, I am not ignoring your ceol recommendation, but I can't figure out when they have live music/events!)
